Ice
I've been driving over a lot of ice and snow. God, always a fan of irony, has seen fit to make this the snowiest winter since I started driving and this also happens to be the winter I must drive the most. Add to this my internship site needing/wanting me to stay despite crappy weather. In His defense (as if He needs it...), He has kept me from sliding into a ditch and exploding (the obvious result of sliding into a ditch). However, my steering wheel probably owns a few of my finger nails seeing as they've been buried deeper into it than into the fingers they belong to.
Moving on, I think I can hear my alarm preparing to beep in the mornings because I start to dream about something beeping, ringing, or someone saying "wake up" before it goes off. Sometimes this sucks because my brain was preparing the action sequence of a dream.
The world has many flavors of bigot and I'd love to try to put all of them in the trash - hopefully even the flies will reject them. I know why people trend toward prejudice and hate but it still confuses me why we trend toward it - which might seem like a contradiction but I've also found that life is full of them. I think I fall into the category of people who wish people would stop treating each other like shit and learn to disagree.
I'm a Christian and I'll admit I've wanted to flick-off an atheist or two - but I've only ever wanted to kill another Christian. The fact of the matter is that people will piss each other off so categorizing broad swathes of people as "teh suxk" is stupid and hurtful both to the hater and the hated. The hater loses the chance to get to know someone cool and ends up hurting a cool person. The hated often ends up hurt and sometimes ends up hating in return - which sometimes leads to blindly hating a group when only one or a few were truly dicks.
In other news, there's a burito in my belly.
