A pundit asked an interesting question last night: what's the difference? N. Korea sinks a S. Korean ship, killing 48, and the world shrugs. Israel gives the blockade runners every chance to bring aid peaceful and then is attacked and most of the world swiftly condemns ISRAEL - Israel killed 9 people in defense. 

What is the difference? Why does the world give Kim Jong a pass and immediately jump on Israel even though there's video evidence that the Israelis were defending themselves. Kim Jong bushwacks his neighbor and besides S. Korea, nobody seems that angry. A little finger wagging but not much else.

N. Korea is protected by China; Israel has no true friends. The United States has abandoned them in everything but name. Israel is no angel but it deserves better that it's getting.

The unfair treatment of Israel infuriates me. There are too many pundits siding with the blockade runners on grounds that dismiss all evidence and logic. It's clear that their minds are made up.

It really bums me out that our southern coast are getting destroyed. I hate BP but I smell government cheese on the air. BP has certainly been negligent but giving the government control is only going to put a different, corrupt and stupid group of people in charge. Damned if we do, damned if we don't - how appropriate our coast is growing blacker and flammable!

News rumors suggest that Iran is making two nukes at once - care to guess what two countries it hates most? If you guessed the U.S. and Israel then you're smarter than Obama and Team. They're tougher on BP  than on N. Korea or Iran.

All of this barely touches on the ridiculous, the stupid, and the wrong floating around the news and elsewhere. I don't like focusing on the negative but I hate injustice and I will point it out so we can zombie-mob it to death. Love always, mercy for those who'll take it, and justice to protect the proceeding!

Arizona's law mimics the Federal law that isn't being enforced by the Feds. Arizona's law isn't nearly as harsh as MEXICO's which allows police to ask you at ANY time for your papers. Don't have them? Enjoy that decade in jail, Mr. Can't Remember His Papers. Meanwhile, the President of Mexico comes here and wags his finger at us for being nicer than his drug-controlled hell-hole of a country...and about 50% of our idiot Congress applauds him.

Dumb, dumb, dumb.

Oh, Mexico also has a huge and well-guarded fence on THEIR SOUTHERN BORDER. But somehow Arizona is the racist one.

A flotilla of morons tries to run a blockade when all they had to do was submit to inspection. They attack Israel's military members and then cry "foul!" when the military opens fire on them. Practically the whole world sides against Israel. The people on the flotilla purposefully provoked the Israelis. Rockets are launched from Gaza all the time so it isn't a wonder that Israel would be suspicious of ships trying to run a blockade. Meanwhile, some idiot pundit believe Israel is supressing the story of those on the boats by detaining them when they were given the option of being flown home or being sent to jail - they CHOSE jail.

Israel defended itself and is being called monsters for it. I'm surprised Israel hasn't just told the world to "shove it" and started shooting and bombing everything in sight. Israel has been more than patient and kind with the Palestinians - we would have invaded.

Meanwhile, our retarded (to put it nicely) Attorney General refuses to do his job. Sestak offered a job? Not checking it out. Black Panthers physically intimidate voters? Not checking it out. Is militant Islam linked to recent terrorists attacks? Not going to talk about. ERIC HOLDER IS A STOOGE - the only way he could be more of a lapdog for Obama is if he were literally a tiny dog sitting in Obama's lap. He's worse than a figurehead because he's complicit in covering for Obama.

Despite Obama's promises of transparency, he and those who serve him consistently cover up, spin, and deny rather than be honest and open with the American public. This does not surprise me as I said he was a liar during the campaign and he has done nothing but confirm my opinion at every opportunity.

He is no better than Bush and anyone who defends him as such is guilty of the same blindness they accused Conservatives of during Bush's term. If you're willing to let one party lie both parties are going to. Until we hold all sides accountable we will be held in contempt by our leadership and they will continue to abuse us.

A liar, cheat, or fiend is a liar, cheat, or fiend first and a Republican or Democrat second. Their twisted character and lack of ethics informs their chosen politics.

Ever notice how in movies about infections making people into zombies or psychos blood rarely transmits the infection? Drives me nuts. If they can bite and infect you then their blood is probably a very bad thing. Shoot, it isn't the best idea to get sprayed in the eyes or mouth with someone's blood WITHOUT a zombie apocalypse going on but somehow these mouth-breathers don't protect their eyes, noses, or mouths from getting gore shot into them. Forget the zombie-virus for a second - what if that zombie you just blew into a red mist had AIDS? Let's take a chainsaw to all his friends - maybe we can collect diseases like Pokemon! I'Z GOTZ TO CATCH THEM ALL!!!

Vampires - Ann Rice made them ambiguously gay, Twilight made them into sparkling sissies who might as well not be vampires. "I don't want to eat food anymore" Strong Sad once whined. If Strong Sad hadn't beaten Stephenie Meyer to it she'd probably have made Edward say that - because he's a wuss. "Vampire Anorexic seeks Stupid Girl who is too young to realize he's a pedophile and a mopey sissy. Must enjoy sparkling and tortured lip-biting."

Werewolves - the only thing "wolfish" they're doing is humping your teenage daughters. Like the vampire, their curse has become a bonus for shagging girls with a bad-boy fetish - it's kind of like a foreign accent and a five-o-clock shadow. Werewolves have transformed from cursed killers to that older guy fathers are always telling their daughters to avoid because he's just going to impregnate them and then leave the country.

Military Cover-up movies - the gubbermint is teh evils! It's always the same stupid plot and 99% of the time it takes a shot at Conservatives and the paints the military as mindless, trigger-happy goons. Yay for perpetuating stereotypes! Especially ones that are 99% baseless!

In closing, the film "Mad" (I think that's the title...) is a funny parody of zombie flicks.

I spend the days avoiding the sun and my nights working. I am possibly the most boring vampire ever - BLOOD AND TAXES FOREVER! Nah, I'm not working on taxes. I'm working on surveys. Glamorous, I know. I'm constantly bombarded with requests for autographs. Whether I consider working on my second Masters to be a stretch or too easy varies from week to week and seems to have more to do with my mood than anything else.

The only thing in the news that has really caught my eye this weekend was the crazy number of violent deaths - at least 22 in Chicago. Isn't gun control amazing? I wish we had more of it - maybe if the criminals had more control over where their bullets went there wouldn't be so many innocents killed by strays! Criminals will get guns illegally so banning guns only stops the lazy and those who would purchase and use the weapons properly.

We are talking about Chicago though - nonsense is how politics works here.
