Frontlawn Robbery
I wish we'd leave the U.N. It's a useless, corrupt, and expensive institution.
The storm that dropped all those tornadoes on Minnesota is about to hit Chicago - it's a big band of "red" on the radar and it looks like it might extend all the way across Illinois.
My mother was robbed. It was the second or third attempt at our house in the past couple years. This isn't a poor neighborhood so the idiot was either a druggy or a kid looking for thrills. Ironically, there's at least four cops that live in our neighborhood and one of them lives next door. Stealing my mother's wallet netted them maybe $20, a mint, and a bunch of useless credit cards. It was a pointless crime.
The world is full of stupid and some of it spilled in my front yard.

They stold it right from your mom? That stinks. If she had a confrontation maybe she should get some pepper spray, it had to be scary for her.
There's a cop living next door to my mom too. I'm glad. The guy on the other side of the cop is a drunken (bleep). I was relieved when the cop moved in.
@dropsofjupiterihh - They stole it from her car. The cops think they can get the guy.
That's bad enough, an invasion of privacy. I've had my car broken into a couple of times. I'm glad it wasn't a person to person robbery, and I hope they do get him.
@dropsofjupiterihh - people have been trying the cars at our house lately. It's getting annoying. I always set the alarm out of habit but now I'm going to lock all the cars with their alarms on. I'm usually up all night but last night I went to bed early. Bad timing, eh?
I agree with you on the UN. Dumb bunch of snobs and I am usually a very nice person.
And very sorry about you mom being robbed.
