Dummycrats and Retardlicans
The Democrats are complaining that the Republicans are blocking everything. This is delightful to me because that's exactly what the Democrats did to the the Republicans when Bush was in office. I don't say this to be spiteful but to smile at the irony. Why did the Dems block then and the Reps now? They did so for two reasons. First, their voting block wanted it. Dems hated Bush and Reps cringe whenever Obama or his team open their mouths. Second, to be partisan assholes. They smell blood in the water and it's time to frenzy!
So for the supporters of the Dems - STFU. The shoe is on the other foot, as you gloated then, so enjoy reaping what you've sown.
I liked Bush, going to throw that out there, and I think he got a raw deal. However, I don't agree with everything he supported and I believe that his administration a), supported positions antithetical to traditional Republican ones and b), did a crappy job overall.
Obama, like Bush, is suffering for who he surrounded himself with. Both men made bad choices in their cabinet and support staff which made them look bad. The difference between the two is that Obama blames everyone around him. He says that the buck stops with him but he's always got an excuse or a villain. It makes him look weak. He's also terrible at taking criticism. Bush stayed rather jolly despite scalding critiques.
Bush might have been an idiot, in the world's eyes, but Obama is a fool. He's done far more to hurt our position in the world that Bush did. Obama has no teeth. His administration has no teeth - which makes it easier to lie through them. He's giving Jimmy Carter a run for the "Most Pathetic President" trophy.
Am I alone in being depressed by how weak of mind and spine the U.S. government has been for over a decade? I'm unimpressed by every President since Ronnie and I can't remember him! Politicians are only human but the criminal stupidity and lack of character our leaders have been exhibiting makes me think that God has poured out a heaping helping of "act like a retard" on them. I'm fairly certain that retards have a more accurate moral compass.
Wisdom is from God alone. For those who believer, pray that our nation is lead by men and women of wisdom. Democrat or Republican, God, give us leaders who DON'T SUCK.

I don't like the Republican or Democratic party because I am a fiscal conservative and social liberal. Plus, the parties just divide the country, and they make it so that someone who isn't extremely conservative or extremely liberal can't get into office. I think we would end up with better presidents if candidates didn't run under a party and just stated what their policies would be. Then people would vote with their brain instead of voting for whoever the commentators on FOX/CNN tells them to...
I don't know. There's my two cents. lol.
I agree about Reagan. I liked Clinton, until he got the Goofy Fellatio award. The others? Nah. Before Reagan in fact, Truman, Kennedy and Johnson were the only ones with spine, in my lifetime.
The hard part is, I can't think of a single person, from either party, who'd be much better than the Nutty Professor. Gingrich?
Pawlenty ? The Wicked Witch of the West? Absolutely no demonocrats come to mind.
I heart President Obama and I think he's doing an awesome job for my country! This is being said by a proud veteran of the USAF! Happy Fathers day or whatever!
@cyberbear - happy fathers day hun
@Diva_Jyoti -
IT is American to exercise your right to be wrong. Democracy in action over here.
@TheGiantSlayer - There is no right or wrong in an opinion, I think you know that. But thanks for saying hi and I hope you have a happy fathers day or whatever.
many people look to government as if it were a god that is supposed to save them. they cry out for its justice and its hand, when in reality... it is nothing but the comprisal of ignorant men.
To quote the greatest president we've ever had:
"However, political parties may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things to become potent engines by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion."
-George Washington, September 17th, 1796
I hate to sound like a broken record, but that's why I dropped out of being a democrat in the first place. I'm not a republican, but there was somehing about Obama that I couldn't fully trust. I knew that people leaning heavily upon him will affect him. But while I gave him a best of luck, I voted in the green party. I don't know whether to go there or be a libertarian. But I know that as shady Republicans will be, I have grown kind of suspicious or mixed about Democrats these days, as well.
@mynameisblueskye - I think I'm still registered as a Rep but if I were asked I'd say I'm an independent. I don't see workable solutions being offered by either side - just more bickering! Sometimes I feel like any idiot could diagnose what is wrong with the country but somehow our leaders are like "never saw that one coming!"
@Alyxandri - My sentiments exactly. It's hard to say "United We Stand" with a political system that flat out divides the country.
@Alyxandri - I feel like politicians say what pleases people and then ignore us once in office - that defeats the point of representation! I'd say I'm "conservative" in most things but that social legislation of a conservative nature often goes against the core ideal of freedom.
I'm happy to have your two-cents whenever you feel like sharing them!
@cyberbear - yeah, I'm not seeing anyone in either party that I can pin my hopes on. Maybe we'll get a nice surprise come 2012!
@Diva_Jyoti - I'd give you grief for still liking him but I staunchly defended Bush despite all that went wrong. Thank you for your service!
@TheGiantSlayer - but even donkeys can talk with a little help from God - let's pray He sends us as loyal a steed!
@I_Create - I'd say he's psychic but he probably just knew his history well enough to see where selfishness leads - everyone loses!
@JJ_Ames -
I dunno if these guys have a problem talking so much...
LOVE: We think about it, Sing about it, Dream about it && Loose sleep worrying about it. When we don't know we have it, we search for it. When we discover it, we don't know what to do with it. When we have it, we fear loosing it. It is the constant source of pleasure and pain. But we don't know which it will be from one moment to the next. It is a short word, easy to spell, difficult to define && IMPOSSIBLE to live without.
this is me, commenting on your blog post so you don't think i'm not reading.
@eowynnabeeowyn - I appreciate your feedback...although you could just rec and/or leave eprops...although I'd prefer your thoughts.
